POWER: Noir et Blanc Soirée - Where Beauty Meets Influence
Washington, D.C. - Project Briggs. Inc., in collaboration with K5 Entertainment and Xavier Entertainment is proud to present POWER: Noir et Blanc Soirée - Where Beauty Meets Influence. Are you influential? Are you powerful? Well, Washington, D.C. has a rich legacy of power and what better way to start 2018 then to mingle with the city’s most influential people from various industries.
This event was inspired by the Black & White Ball held on November 28, 1966 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City by Truman Capote for Katherine Graham, then-publisher of The Washington Post. Our event will be Washington D.C.’s signature social event, highlighting the “movers and shakers” of Washington D.C. This landmark event will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Washington’s own CAPITALEdc, 1301 K Street NW, Washington, DC 20005 from 10:00 p.m. – 3:00 a.m. This event will present guests with an evening of elegance and sophistication in the spirit of celebrating not only the LGBTQ community, but also ALL people in the community.
In an effort to establish a tradition at each of our events, the unveiling of the masks will occur at 12:30 a.m. "This year we look forward to welcoming hundreds of guests to our events. We will continue to provide an unprecedented visibility to our community,” says Abdur-Rahim Briggs, President of Project Briggs. Inc. The goal of the event is to raise funds to help sustain our community programs and advance our mission. Since the launch of Project Briggs. Inc., 100% of all proceeds have supported many programs in the community.
